Well I liked the look of it and decided I’d make it as a coverlet/blanket for my Qn bed. I’ve just bought the yarn and am excited to start! Thanks for putting your idea online with pattern instructions.

Wow, what happened to if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say it at all. The blanket is beautiful and inspiring. So what if you got the idea from another blanket. You didn’t sell the pattern nor the blanket. I don’t even recall anywhere in your post that the blanket is your original. If someone has so much time to criticize someone else they have too much time. Like I said Great blanket, great job.

This appears to be an exact duplicate of Rose Red’s Lumberjack flannelghan. I do realize that great minds can think alike but this is a little too close for comfort.

Beautiful blanket and yes, 6 pounds in heavy but will be so cozy during the winter. I am going to make a square blanket using the samples of my handspun. It might take a few years to make but I like the idea of only having to make little squares at a time…not as overwhelming.
