This weekend we were surprised with a snow storm. Weatherman said “dusting to an inch” instead we got what I’m guessing was 6in. Hard to really tell since the sustained winds were 25-30mph with gusts over 60mph. Ugh
Oh well, crappy weather means time for fiber.
Here’s progress I’ve been making on my sock yarn shawl. From tip to tip it’s about 2 feet.

Bad weather is always good encouragement to knit, since I already have the excuse to stay inside. The shawl is looking marvelous!

Snowstorm knitting is the best, next to thunder and lightening knitting! Your shawl is looking great. I love how the patterning is developing.
Boo for surprise snow, but yay for beautiful shawls! I love the colours in that one, it’s so autumnal and earthy and then there are those surprising and pretty dark blue stripes.
